I chose to do a short ride today – a mere 200 km. Victoria was not even warmed up yet and we arrived at Nunda Lodge on the banks of the deep and slow moving Okavango for our nights stop .
I set up camp and while doing so I could hear the hippos frolicking just beyond the reeds. I already feel it is going to be a great night out. For the rest of my time here I have been enjoying the lodge with its beautiful surroundings and the great people who are passing through on their way to another point on the map .
I am off to go and enjoy the sunset with a crisp glass of white and, after dinner, I will let the sounds of Africa lull me to sleep.
Until we meet again
